The Alexander Centre and Creek Creative support an annual art exhibition by local artists.
The Alexander Centre Trust (CIC), in partnership with Creek Creative (CIC), will be holding a year long exhibition of paintings at the Alexander Centre, - offering exhibition space to invited local Artists. The intention is for the exhibition to be a showcase for modern British Art by local Artists and for it to become an annual event.
Saturday the 31st January 2015 will see the start of a year long Art Exhibition, featuring the work of talented local Artists.
The 2015 Collection features the work of:
and Barry Fincham
Update: 1st August
In this it's inaugural year, Paul has been invited as one of the featured artists. The Private View of the collection was at the end of January, where both Paul's along with Cherryl's work was hung in the lovely Sidney Room and the launch event was very nicely catered for by Macknade Fine Foods.
The collection took a hiatus while the superb Magna Carta exhibition was on display and resumed in July, offering the artists the opportunity to refresh the collection, replacing works that had been sold. As part of the rehang the majority of Paul's work found a new home in the newly refurbished room, which as yet is unnamed, (throughout August there will be a competition to find it a name). Several other pieces of Paul's work can be found both in the Sidney room and the hall.
The Alexander Collection 2015 can be viewed until the 31st December.
Access to this exhibition will at times be restricted, please check in advance.
